What a great time to spend with your own graduating class. The Kelly class of 2010 celebrated together at prom with an event that should stay with every senior forever.
Although it was raining that evening, seniors had a great time inside the Hilton Hotel. Everyone sat at the round tables with their friends. The fancy dress and camera flashes made it a true “Night at the Oscars,” in addition to the good looking, young men and women.
The dining room was very fancy, as well as the food. Seniors loved the delicious spaghetti with chicken. For desert, Chocolate Mocha ice cream cake was served. It was very good.
“It was good for a special occasion,” said Alma Perez. “The food was so good that I was expecting second servings and cheese cake for desert” said Claudia.
At such an evening, everyone is hungry.
Everyone had to have had a picture taken. There was not a single guy or girl that did not look great. The young women looked like true actresses while the men looked like actors.
“Everyone looked so different. We are not used to seeing our classmates dressed up everyday” Said Alma.
After having dinner, every senior wanted to dance. So the D.J. put the music on, and everyone rushed to the dance floor. All the bodies that danced made the room very hot. Everyone had a good work out on the dance floor. “The dance music lacked variation” said senior Claudia. Seniors however, enjoyed the fast dancing Reggue music. There was also the slow dancing music, which in Latin it is called Bachata.
“It felt good to be with your friends on a very special occasion. I enjoyed it because I danced all night, though there could have been a better D.J” said Tito Salgado.
Teachers like Mrs. Myles, Mr. Crane, and Mr. Darnell also attended the prom. So many other teachers were present. Some students spent their time taking pictures with their teachers. Before everyone noticed, it was already time to leave. All the excitement made the time go by fast.
In general, the Hilton Hotel provided everyone with great scenery to take pictures with friends or their dates. The line to take pictures was very long. Everyone, however had a memorable prom
“It was the best time ever. I felt a closer bond to my friends” said Miguel Esquinca who was driven to the prom with his friends in a limo.
Once the prom was over, everyone was forced to get out of the Hilton Hotel. Most of the people got to take red roses home from the tables as memories of their once in a lifetime event.
Seniors thought prom was the best night ever. Hopefully, they don’t forget about such a memorable night.
