KHS Eco Friendly is a NON-PROFIT organization is a student based organization that is seeking a way to better the environment we live in. We as a team thought in what way we can better the environment. Our first goal is to Sell Carbon- Credits as a way to plant trees and help reduce carbon in the atmosphere. The way this works is Depending on how much you travel and how you travel we calculate your carbon imprint on the world. From that we set up a point system, when you reach a certain amount of points we plant a tree in your name on either your ground or in a location thorough out the city as well as a tax reduction for helping a Non-Profit organization like us. Our Second priority or goal is to get a city wide ban on plastic bags in the City of Chicago. Were going to accomplish this by talking to alderman’s in every ward to ban plastic bags in their ward. Our solution to this is we offer a plastic eco-friendly bag or reusable bags, as we all known are better for our environment.
